  Acer Unveils New Media PC

Acer has today launched the Aspire E500 desktop PC, which offers users the ability to view their favourite TV shows, unwind with movies and music or view their picture perfect holiday snaps.

Designed to be enjoyed by those who appreciate the stylish simplicity, convenience and the independence of an all-in-one system, the Aspire E500 represents great value entertainment.

When partnered with Microsoft Media Center, the Acer Aspire E500 allows users to enjoy more of their favourite entertainment. With Microsoft Media Center, users can watch DVD movies, listen to music, rip CDs, share digital photos and instantly access on-demand online music, music, news and games all with a simple to use remote control. With an additional TV tuner, users can further expand their entertainment options by watching and recording live television.

The Acer Aspire E500 features up to date technologies to deliver outstanding multimedia performance and comprehensive functionality in a stylish, easy to use package. Its streamlined silver exterior and optional TV/FM tuner make it stylish addition to any lounge, bedroom or home office or study.

The Acer Aspire E500 gives consumers the option to upgrade to Intel's new Pentium D Dual Core processors for unsurpassed performance.
