The Jabra BT8040 does not use any ear-hooks as it now features a ‘Generation III' ear gel that ‘provides perfect comfort for in-ear wearing.' GN claims that the Jabra BT8040 ‘packs a punch' when it comes to high grade audio because of its Digital Sound Processing (DSP) technology and intelligent volume controls. This Bluetooth headset also has an e-SCO technology that claims to provide clear voice transfer between headset and phone, as well as an acoustic shock protection that will safeguard the ear from sudden increases in noise.
The Jabra BT8040 is also A2DP enabled, which means that it can stream music wirelessly from media MP3 players, the internet, a mobile phone, or even a PC. Users can also connect to two devices at the same time with its MultiPoint software.
