According to SanDisk, the fingernail-sized 16GB memory cards allow consumers to "wake up" their portable handsets. The 16GB microSDHC card can also be used in other devices such as video cameras, GPS receivers, or MP3 players with a microSD slot (such as SanDisk's Sansa players).

Availability and Pricing

The SanDisk 16GB cards for mobile will be available from Crazy John's stores in October with an RRP of $141 for the 16GB microSDHC card and $188 for the 16GB M2 card.
