  HTC Launches A Shift In Mobile Computing

HTC has released the Shift, a portable and lightweight device in mobile computing, powered by Windows Vista Business Edition.

The Shift feature HTC's SnapVUE technology – an always-on mode that provides instant access to emails, calendar, SMS messages and contacts, without the need to fully boot up the device which helps conserve power and extend battery life.

It houses a full QWERTY keyboard and large 7.0" touch sensitive ‘slide-‘n-tilt' screen, while Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity enable high speed internet access, allowing users to stay connected while on the go.

Other features include fingerprint sensor, mouse buttons and microPad and Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity.

The HTC Shift has an RRP of $1,999 and is available now from authorised Brightpoint mobile phone retailers and dealers.
