Free Landline Calls Coming Later This Year From Skype

By Caroline Warnes | Wednesday | 21/02/2007

Skype will launch its Pro package in Australia later this year, offering zero cents per minute calls to domestic landlines.

The package has already launched in Europe, where subscribers pay two euros per month to sign up.

The monthly fee covers a series of premium features and discounts on Skype hardware. This includes free voicemail, a discount on SkypeIn numbers and five euros credit when you sign up for five months.

The Pro VoIP service will arrive in Australia in the coming months.
