The Mothership flagship amplification system comprises the iTube Controlroom preamp, plus a pair of iTube Engineroom monoblocks.

Fatman describes the iTube Controlroom to be the Mothership system's brains. With a Class A vacuum tube preamplifier, this unit boosts the source signals to a level suitable for its brothers-in-valves, the Engineroom twins. Equipped with six premium-quality valves, and housing exceptional components, the Controlroom's firm chassis is meticulously assembled.

Working in harmony with the preamplifier, the company claims that the two iTube Enginerooms take the musical signal to a whole new level as each monoblock power amplifier unloads a whopping 200 watts. The beautifully crafted Engineroom units each draw on eighteen perfectly matched and lovingly assembled vacuum tubes to achieve a shared goal of audio excellence.

Fatman's James Roth says, "Forget just living the dream. Here at Fatman, we are hearing and seeing the dream. The Fatman family is growing up and I'm pleased to say more than a few have already left home! So it's especially satisfying to now see the Mothership, or ‘Big Mutha', looking so fine, and so proud."

The Fatman Mothership will be available from September 2007 and will have an RRP of $12,367.90.
