By Mendelson Tiu | Sunday | 06/01/2008

Denon has launched the S-52 wireless network CD music system, a device that allows a user to enjoy music content from their music files stored in your PC, listen to various Internet radio stations, play CDs, and can even play music straight from anyone’s iPod.

The S-52 comes with a built-in, top seating docking port for iPod and comes with a clock and two alarms with auto clock set and adjusts via Internet and FM/AM radio. The S-52 can also decode MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV formats as well as FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) encoded files, supports the Rhapsody music service, and offers maximum music functionality with the ability to audio stream either via Ethernet or wireless from Internet radio sources or with other network attached storage devices connected on the network.

The company also says that users can access all features and functions of the system either via the remote or multi-task jog wheel on top of the S-52 and will give ample information with its high contrast graphic LCD screen.

The S-52 is DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compliant, making it compatible with other DLNA compliant A/V products and claims to offer ‘dynamic and realistic' sound levels with its Audyssey Dynamic EQ, Spatial EQ, and Bass-XT technologies.

Finally, the S-52 offers a wide range of connectivity that includes an RCA aux input, a USB port, an RCA (mono) output, and an Ethernet port. It also comes with a user friendly remote controller that will give access to all the features of the S-52.

The S-52 is now available at selected Denon retailers and has an RRP of $1,299.
