Online Retailer Digital Home Slashes Prices By 80%

By David Richards | Sunday | 04/02/2007

Online retailer Digital Home has slashed prices by up to 80%. The move which benefits consumers is set to hurt high street retailers due to the low margins that online retailers have Vs stores like JB HiFi, Retravision and Harvey Norman.

Among the products slashed down in price are iPod headphones from Sennheiser, notebooks, storage devices, LCD TV's Bluetooth and several other leading brand products. DigitalHome can be found at www.digitalhome.com.a u

Digital Home Director Daniel Barnett said" Online retailers are able to operate with lower costs. These are passed onto consumers who shop online. In the past 12 months our business has grown by over 100% so consumers are becoming  familiar with buying from a web site."

He added" They have also discovered that we have the same warranty services as high street retailer as well as a broad range of products which many high street retailers are unable to carry because of floor space restrictions".
