The new Diablo Sub Panel is a passive design, using  Artcoustic's PA300 (300 watt) amplifier. This means only speaker cable is required to run to the sub and no mains power.

Artcoustic is known predominantly for its high-end wall mounted speakers with interchangeable screens that allow you to choose a fabric or decorative print to suit your home's interior.

Its new sub is no different – it has been designed to fit inside the Artcoustic Linaz Duo cabinet, which is available in black or white to suit your décor. And, as it doesn't require mains power to the enclosure, you have greater flexibility in positioning it in your room.

"The challenge was to achieve high performance from a compact subwoofer in a design that was aesthetically pleasing," says Artcoustic CEO Kim Donvig.

"This also makes it the perfect choice for most high-end installations; residential or commercial from high end home cinemas and multi purpose audio systems to hotels, bars and restaurants. However, the Diablo Sub Panel would fit just as nicely with a 2 channel hi fi system, as it is equally exciting at low levels or high levels," he added.
