The Nikon D60 sports a 10.2-megapixel sensor, is compatible with various Nikkor lenses, has features like 3D Color Matrix Metering II that ensures balanced exposures, and even comes with a new digital image processing concept called Expeed that promises smoother tones and more accurate colours.
A feature provided by the Nikon D60 but is not found on other DSLR cameras is its ‘Retouch Menu' which lets a user edit taken photos without the need for a computer. This menu is fairly easy to use, with all the editing options (including Quick retouch, D-lighting, Red-eye correction, Trim, Monochrome, Filter effects, Small picture, Image overlay, NEF (RAW) processing, and Stop-motion movie) displayed on the screen.
