"HD DVD Review: Bourne Ultimatum"

By Manisha Kanetkar | Published:07/01/2008

A range of slick films hit the DVD shelves this summer, including the HD DVD version of Bourne Ultimatum. We buckled ourselves in for the ride.

The thrilling finale to the highly successful Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy movies is now yours to inject into your home cinema set-up. And the action-packed identity crisis of CIA assassin Jason Bourne is concluded in a way that is every bit as exciting as you hope it will be.

With great use of handheld cameras, making you feel like you're in the action, a stellar performance from Matt Damon in the leading role and a tight script, this sequel will not disappoint.

Available in full 1080p glory on HD-DVD, Bourne fans are treated to insider info on the Blackbriar files, as well as Spy Training, downloads as well as ‘Making Of' featurettes, a documentary and commentary. If you haven't chosen the HD-DVD alley, it is also available in DVD format.

Why should I buy this?
It's the explosive ending to what has been a major box office coup for the studio. It's time to bring the action home.

Format: HD-DVD
Region: Free
RRP: $44.95
