"The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou Soundtrack Review"

An innovative soundtrack can enhance the movie-watching experience, and the delightful blend of world music and David Bowie on Wes Anderson’s quirky film starring Bill Murray does just that.

soundtrack is arguably more interesting than its predecessors, incorporating five David Bowie songs covered by Brazilian artist Seu Jorge.

You will also find a few songs by Norwegian composer Sven Libaek – which were apparently suggested by actor Noah Taylor.

The result is surprisingly delightful, with a chilled feel bordering on Bossa Nova rhythms. The Bowie tracks in particular are simply stunning; highlights include the whispered beauty of Jorge's Life on Mars?.
