The Foxl was developed by Dr. Godehard Guenther, a physicist and former NASA engineer with three PhDs. According to Godehard there weren't any really small hifi-quality portable loudspeakers, so he developed one himself and named the device after his first grandson, Fox.
With a working dimension of 143 x 55 x 35mm, the Foxl easily fits inside a bag or a jacket pocket. And because a lanyard is included, one can hang the unit like a necklace. Users can find a Bluetooth button up front for pairing with music devices, while a 3.5mm stereo jack, power input, external subwoofer/microphone jack, LED charge indicator, and mini-USB port are located on the sides of the device.
