This invention by Aussie and father of three Christopher Mitchell comprises of four feet which the legs of a cot sit inside. Using the included remote control, you can then get those feet to make the cot rock from side to side– something which can help settle babies and help them sleep.
Some safety features have been built-in also, all electronics contained within the Lullabub are protected from being accessed by children outside the cot – the only button which can be pressed by little fingers is a nightlight. The Lullabub also prevents a cot from being rocked in excess of five degrees, which is half of the maximum 10 degrees allowable by the Australian Standards. It can also accommodate cots of various sizes and weights.
So how does it actually fare up in real-world situations? We took it to a couple of new parents to test it out with their little six month-old baby girl, who may look adorable, but has been notorious in making her parents drive her around in their car into the wee hours to try to put her to sleep.
