Beard, who left Samsung mid-2009, has been appointed National Marketing Manager for the Consumer Electronics Division. He reports to Sales and Marketing Director Joe Costantino.

"Mark Beard's industry experience will add a further dimension to our Product and Marketing Team and we look forward to his involvement in Sharp's continued growth in the Australian market," said Costantino.

Prior to joining Sharp, Beard was at Samsung Electronics for 10 years holding various senior Sales and Marketing roles. "What impresses me about Sharp is their deep commitment to their customers; both consumer and retailer. Sharp not only supplies a superior product but also a superior 'back end'. Credit, Logistics and Service are treated with equal importance to the Sales and Marketing functions.
