The high-quality AV500 series gives High Definition (HD) with an integrated tuner, which is suitable for watching Australia's latest digitally broadcast channels.

Expanding on Toshiba's REGZA television range, these new LCD televisions incorporate a host of innovative technologies that make images appear more natural and life-like.

These include DynaLight, Toshiba's dynamic backlighting function, which improves the black levels in dark scenes, and Cinespeed which, with increased LCD response times, decreases blurriness and delivers cleaner, high-action home theatre pictures.

The AV500 series consists of a 26", 32", 37" and 42" screen option, with a range of inputs including two HDMI, two composite connections, component video, S-video, as well as a PC input for consumers to use the TV as a monitor.

Prices start at $999 RRP for the 26" model.
