According to Hisense, the T28 can play  Divx and Mpeg movies and music through their TV via its USB drive. It also includes a PVR function that allow viewers to record live television through an external hard drive.

The T28 Series also features a new Hisense auto backlight control (found on 26-inch model and above) that saves energy by adjusting the LCD panel to deliver optimum luminance levels to suit the lighting conditions in the room.

Three further sizes – a 26-inch model, a 32-inch model and a 40-inch model – will be available in stores in the next two months.
