Skunkworks will soon be seen on the big screen as it has provided some of their LCD brackets to a movie being shot in Queensland.

According to Skunkworks, its LCD brackets and arms, as well as the Skunkworks brand name will pop up in various scenes in the upcoming Lionsgate/Warner movie entitled Daybreakers. In this movie, Ethan Hawke will play a researcher in the year 2017, when a plague has transformed most of the world's population into vampires. These vampires must capture and farm every remaining human or find a blood substitute before time runs out.

Skunkworks' Managing Director, Lou Schillaci said, "Essentially they needed their flat screens to have maximum flexibility and variety to suit a number of different set-ups. They also needed to get the products quickly and easily and we could provide that."

A considerable amount of action takes place in the laboratory where Ethan Hawke's character conducts his research and that's where the Skunkworks mounts provided most of its solutions, mounting the laboratory's myriad of flat screens to the desks, walls and ceiling, the company says.

"It's just business as usual here, making great brackets that support all kinds of flat screens. We like to think we offer excellent solutions for everyone. And now, it seems Hollywood thinks so too!" Schillaci added.
