Sony is set to launch several new OLED TV's at the 2010 CES Show in Las Vegas. According to internal Sony documents sent to one of their International marketing partners, the Japanese Company is set to use OLED technology to try and resurrect a dominant position for Sony in the flat panel TV market.

The document which refers to several OLED models, including a 27" OLED HD TV says that the new TV's will be marketed as the KDL-ZX range.

Earlier this Sony, who are struggling to hold onto global market share in the HD TV market said that they were putting on hold the launch of a 27" OLED TV due to production and pricing issues.

The leaked information has come from a 24-page document outlining what will be on show at the CES Expo in January 2010.

 The Company, who are set to spend over $500 million dollars in 2010, sponsoring the World Cup in South Africa, are hoping to resurrect their flagging brand with a combination of sponsorship, new marketing initiatives and several new products say sources.

In Australia Sony has spent millions of dollars trying to prop up flagging sales of their Bravia LCD TV range with the Company dropping the price of their Bravia TV's, giving away 3 year warranty and PS3 gaming consoles. The strategy appears to be working with the Company last week snaring the #1 position in the flat panel TV market.   

The new Sony OLED range which is still at BETA stage are said to stylish and thin, however they are expected to be expensive according to sources.
