Pioneer Rolls Out New Blu-Ray And Home Theatre Kit

By Mendelson Tiu | Wednesday | 19/09/2007

Pioneer is promising users of full HD experience with its launch of new audio and video products that the company claims will deliver 1080p and 24Hz picture performance.

This new sub-brand name, dubbed ‘LX' (which stands for Luxury), will include everything from its Project Kuro panels, to its Blu-ray player, DVD player and DVD recorders, and even its 1080p AV receivers.

The Pioneer LX Kuro 50 and 60 inch 1080p plasma display, Blu-ray Disc player and A/V receivers work together to handle the 1080p 24Hz rate needed to preserve a feature film's original sequence. Moreover, Pioneer says that its LX range targets the ‘discerning consumer', users who have a shared passion for premium quality products.

Pioneer Australia's National Marketing Manager for the Home Entertainment Group, Mark Anning said, "Every piece of technology and engineering that goes into Pioneer products is created with the intention of providing a high definition entertainment experience in its purest form. We've continued to refine each generation of plasma and have reached the pinnacle with the combination of the KURO plasma panels combined with a Blu-ray Disc player and A/V receivers."
