The DIR-320 Wireless G Router connects to a broadband modem to wirelessly share a high-speed Internet connection. The 'Guest Zone' function provides a secondary wireless service set identifier (SSID). This means users can set up a second public name for their wireless network, which is separate from the main network domain for better security and management.
The router also includes a built-in firewall to safeguard wireless networks from attacks. Additional security features like MAC address filtering prevents unauthorised network access and parental control features prevent users from viewing inappropriate content. This unit also supports WPA and WPS encryption for wireless security.
In addition to a USB port supporting connection to a USB printer for sharing on the network, the router also provides four Ethernet ports to connect Ethernet-enabled PCs, game consoles and other devices to the Internet.
With D-Link's Quick Router Setup Wizard and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), users can set up a new wireless network in minutes. It configures ISP settings to establish broadband Internet connectivity and makes it easy to add new wireless devices.
