Miele is set to launch an upright vacuum that claims to have power-steering like capability for easy floor cleaning.
The S7 range (S 7210 jet black and the S 7580 AutoCare HEPA garnet red metallic) utilises a new SwivelNeck technology that claims to give the vacuums 'power-steering' like capability. As the weight of each unit is carried in the base, these vacuum cleaners are light to hold and steer.

The Auto Height Adjustment automatically adapts the brush height of each unit as it moves from one flooring surface to another.
"Following the contour of the floor, it adjusts to the pile depth and the rotating brush can be turned off at the handle, independently of the suction power, to protect a smooth floor," said the company.
In addition, the vacuum cleaners are equipped with an integrated telescopic lightweight wand for use with the on-board specialised cleaning tools. The new range also comes with a 1,800 watt motor, an energy saving Automatic setting (for the Autocare HEPA), and LED headlights to illuminate every dark corner.
A high performance filtration system makes for excellent cleaning results on all types of flooring. Miele's advanced Sealed System HEPA filtration uses a new 9 layer HyClean filtering dustbag with a 6 L capacity and automatically closes with a unique spring loaded lid when it is removed.
The Miele S 7210 Jet black and S 7580 will be available in July for $799 and $999, respectively.
