BMW is also set to offer HD Digital radio on both the BMW and Mini ranges along with Audi and Toyota.

By the end of 2010 brands such as Ford, Hyundai, Honda and Volvo will have HD Radio as an option.

Audi and Kia — have also committed to offering the technology, iBiquity said. Audi will offer HD Radio as a factory-installed option in many 2011-model-year vehicles. Kia's launch will also occur in calendar 2010 on an unspecified number of vehicles, iBiquity said.

One senior automotive executive in Australia said "We have the technology overseas however we have been waiting for the delivery of digital radio technology in Australia before we launch it here. Australia is really way behind the US and Europe and what will be delivered is going to be restricted to selected area's which is a big problem when one is installing digital radio in a motor vehicle".
