By Oonagh Reidy | Thursday | 17/01/2013

Foxtel Movies on Android is also 'coming soon'

From today all Foxtel Movie subscribers can watch films on the move on an iPad or iPad mini on the Foxtel Go app, as well as the TV.

Yes folks, Foxtel has added a slew of movies and TV titles to the Foxtel Go app from Movies Premier Action/Adventure, Comedy, Family and Showcase, with titles like Game of Thrones Season 2, Boardwalk Empire to Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Road To Perdition and We Bought A Zoo.

And there's more to come.

Foxtel Go mobile app was launched last year with 30 TV channels and On Demand TV from FOX8, SoHo, LifeStyle You, LifeStyle Food, LifeStyle HOME, SKY NEWS, Channel [V], National Geographic Channel, Discovery.

The best bit is these titles are now available for free to watch on an iPad if you already subscribe to Foxtel Movies.

Foxtel Go will be hitting the iPhone and iPod Touch next month, and Android, PCs and Macs "soon."

"It's all part of our mission to give our customers the content they love on Foxtel Go" said Foxtel's Executive Director of Product, Jim Rudder.

Here's a preview of movie/TV titles on offer:

showcase: Girls Season 2, Enlightened Season 2, Game of Thrones Season 2, True Blood Season 4, Boardwalk Empire Season 3·

Foxtel Movies Premiere: Something Borrowed, The Descendants, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Change-Up

Foxtel Movies Action/Adventure: Kingdom Of Heaven, Flight Of The Intruder, Bird On A Wire

Foxtel Movies Comedy: Coming To America, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, The Associate

Foxtel Movies Drama/Romance: The Perfect Catch, Always, Girl Interrupted

Foxtel Movies
Family: Puss In Boots, Hugo, We Bought A Zoo, The Smurfs

Foxtel Movies Thriller/Crime: Road To Perdition, Sacrifice, The Fly

Foxtel Movies Masterpiece: The Eagle, Pope Joan

The movies will be automatically added in the Catch Up section. Foxtel Go is only available on iPad and iPad mini with iOS 5 and higher, however.
