Forget 'Click Frenzy': Apple Snub Sale Friday

As consumers get ready for 'Click Frenzy' tonight, Australia's answer to 'Cyber Monday' in the US, Apple has announced a one day sale this Friday, where its iPad, iPod Touch and MacBook Air could be among the items on sale.

The 'one day Apple shopping event,' announced this morning (although no details were given on how much prices will be slashed) also includes freebie shipping on igoodies purchased.

The teaser on Apple's website features iPad and earphones and the click through link to the shopping event also features accessories and gift ideas like Bowers & Wilkins AirPlay Wireless Music Systems, Logitech Keyboard Cover for iPad, and Bose SoundLink Air Digital Music System.

However, Apple Australia told SmartHouse they cannot confirm the items on sale at this time, so there's no certainty about which items will be reduced.

Apple prices will be slashed on its Online Store for 24 hours kicking off this Friday 23 November from 2:01 am to 24 November 1:59 am AEDT.

So, if you fancy a new iPad mini or other Apple gear you better be quick as sale prices are limited to stock and while supplies last, Apple said. Not all sale products are available in all Apple Retail Stores.
