Officeworks to open its historic 150th store in Bayswater, North Victoria

And the retailer is calling in Dora the Explorer, MRK and AFL stars for the occasion.

The Wesfarmers-owned company has lined up a slew of celebs for the opening of its new Bayswater store in Victoria  including: Collingwood players Scott Pendlebury and Travis Cloke, along with Victorian My Kitchen Rules (MKR) contestants 'Smiley Sam' and Chris, who will partake in a BBQ cook-off.

Even Dora the Explorer and Ollie Bear - his first ever public appearance - will pay a visit to entertain the kids and family activities celebrate the new Officewworks opening this Saturday, 22 June.

The 1700sqm store will stock over 9,000 different products, plus has 'state-of-the-art' print and copy facilities. There's also a Bunnings Warehouse located nearby.

Officeworks invested $5.2 million in development at Baywater and $1.4 million in wages in the first year.

It also recently opened stores in ANZ tower, Sydney CBD and Caroline Springs, Victoria.

"The Team at Officeworks Bayswater feels extremely privileged to be part of Officeworks history," said Store Manager, Philip Scharp.

"We encourage business owners, local families or sports fans to come and celebrate the opening with us and enjoy a great day out."

"There will also be lots of food, fun and games as well as fundraising activities for the Bayswater CFA and Bayswater Public School. So come down and support these great organisations, while celebrating with the community."

Officeworks Bayswater is located at 183 - 225 Canterbury Rd, Bayswater.
