Nikon Australia announce the D610, - its fastest and lightest full-frame D-SLR, ever.

The Full-Frame Factor: Nikon D610

The D610 is Nikon's fastest and lightest full-frame format D-SLR to date, with excellent features including Full (1080p) HD video recording, 24.3-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor and continuous shooting at 6 frames per second. It is the next model up from Nikons D600. There's no confirmation on pricing, yet.

. Quiet Continuous Shutter Release mode

. Improved Auto White Balance Control System to produce true-to-life colours in photographs

. Compact and lightweight full-frame DSLR, weighing approximately 760g

. 24.3-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor and the EXPEED 3 image processing engine

. Extendable ISO range from 100 to 25,600 for superior low light performance

. Full (1080p) HD video recording with advanced video features

The camera is compatible with the WU-1b Wireless Mobile Adaptor (optional).
