Grundig's Energy Efficient Meglio TV Has A Local Touch

By Marie Jones | Tuesday | 10/05/2011

It's a high definition LED LCD TV with advanced features and imaginative touches inspired locally, says Grundig.

The new Meglio TV range builds on Grundig's earlier TV releases, the Trio Touch and Replay, bringing style and advanced digital technology with an Australian and European inspired design.

With an integrated multi-format DVD player, the 22 inch TV  has a side-lit LED which gives it its slim design, and easy to use specs including full HD digital tuner, USB multimedia player and play/pause, time shift and record live TV via an external USB or hard disc drive so you can watch TV when you want.

The slim design also helps to keep your home entertainment unit minimal, without unnecessary bulky accessories.
Brian Rodgers, sales director at Bush Australia, said: " The Meglio concept and development is something we are extremely proud of, and the Australian design input makes this small screen TV unique and a stand out product for the market this year."

With a touch control panel at the front, you can turn the volume up or change channels using the touch responsive panel, and turn the monitor around to face any direction with its included swivel stand.

The LED LCD technology used also makes it highly environmentally friendly, with a six star energy rating that makes it economical to run. Typically it will cost just $180.20 for 10 hours of use per day for 10 years, says Grundig.

The 22 inch full HD LED LCD Meglio TV retails at $499.

It includes 21.5 inch widescreen, side lit illumination which enables a 35mm slim design, 1920 x 1080p resolution with integrated high definition digital tuner, intergrated DVD player, contrast of 1000:1, touch panel control, and features including play, pause, time-shift & record live TV via USB, high quality audio via two 3W speakers, 2 x HDMI inputs, digital audio via coaxial output, 3.5mm headphone jack, a swivel stand and parental locks.
