Impressive Wireless Blu-ray From Samsung

By Marie Jones | Wednesday | 20/04/2011

It's smart, sleek and stylish, and most of all its powerful. Meet the latest stylish wireless Blu-ray and Home Theatre system from Samsung.

With advanced Blu-ray features that give intelligent viewing options via its Smart Hub, making it all the more easy to view content via AllShare, Samsung Apps and Your Video, you can also convert 2D to 3D, with built-in wireless Lan connectivity.

The HT-D6750 Home Theatre system combines high style with high fidelity audio, and packs full HD 1080p playback of 3D Blu-ray discs with new 3D sound technology through a powerful 1,300, 7.1 channel speaker system.

The 3D sound is created by using four elegant, vertical surround swivel speakers, important because with 3D, the sound comes from above as well as around you.

The HT-D6750W includes Samsung's Crystal Sound Plus and 2D to 3D conversion, along with support for HD formats that include Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

You also get built-in Wi-Fi connectivity to wirelessly access content from other DLNA devices.

And it comes with wireless rear speakers for flexible, cordless placement in the living room.

The BD-D8900A Smart Blu-ray player meanwhile has built in WiFi connectivity, a twin tuner and 2D to 3D conversion of movies, pictures and streamed video. It can also record several days of HD broadcast TV shows on it 1TB HDD.

The HT-D6750 Home Theatre system retails at $999 and BD-D8900A retails at $899.
