Kia Ora, Kogan: E-tailer Opens .NZ Site

E-tailer Kogan has officially launched a dedicated site for New Zealanders this week, promising to undercut TradeMe, Ballantynes and JB Hi-Fi NZ.

"Our Kiwi counterparts across the Tasman have been pleading with us for years to launch there, and today we can finally say Kia Ora New Zealand," Kogan wrote on a blog.

The site trades in New Zealand dollars.

Kogan.nz is selling the usual line up of accessories, Kogan-branded tech, smartphones, audio gear like headphones, speakers although isn't selling TVs and Blue Ray players.

Delivery is extra.

Kogan.com's says it giving Kiwis tech at prices "up to 75% less than Farmers, Ballantynes, JB Hi-Fi NZ, Harvey Norman NZ, Dick Smith NZ, and even TradeMe."

Kogan Australia has been trading online for the past eight years and also has a dedicated UK site.

"Throughout 2014 our New Zealand website will begin to see a wider range of Kogan products on the site," the e-tailer said.

Kogan says aiming to make Kogan a "household name" in New Zealand.
