We loved Walkman in the 90's but then the iPod spolit the party.
|But now this groovy Walkman with Sony headphones, Mps 3 and speaker in one, may once again be what the cool kids are wearing. |
The new Walkman WH Series is Sony headphones, speakers and digital music player in on - a particularly clever device considering the huge popularity of headphones, of late.
There two new Walkmans (NWZ-WH505 and NWZ-WH303) comes in cool red, black and white shades.
Both have powerful headphone drivers with Extra Bass Driver Unit, and switch between sound modes for enhanced bass, or clear mid-to-high range vocals. The music player supports wide audio file formats.
3-in-1 Walkman can be hung around your neck and the surround sound speakers activated if you don't want to listen via the headphones.
The speakers built into the headband have Sony proprietary xLOUD and VPT technologies.
The new Sony Walkman promises to play for up to 20 hours, has 16GBs of built-in storage (on the WH505) - or around 4,000 track, while the cheaper model has 4GB storage.
Starting at $199 for NWZ-WH303 and $299 for the NWZ-WH505, which has a 'premium' headband, these Walkman's appear to be pretty good value.
