Its Cheap: LG $99 'Droid Darling

The 3.2" LG Optimus L2 has IPS display, runs - Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), has a QuickMemo, and a dual SIM so it works on GSM - 850/900/1800/1900 and 3G HSDPA networks (there's a hot key to switch between two SIMs).

Thre's no denying L2 has decent specs: internal 4GB memory (1.75GB available), which can be expanded up to 32GB, 3 Mp camera with zoom, FM Radio, Bluetooth and a music player.

The prepay-only Optimus L2 is aimed at young consumers wanting a good-spec smartphone at a decent price.

This little smartie also has QuickMemo which allows users to write notes onscreen, capture screen images and send them to mates or save to the phone's gallery.

The 'L Series' has allowed LG to eke out a larger slice of the smartphone pie, of late, selling more than 10 million in the last 10 months, propelling to the No. 3 spot.

The Optimus L2 Dual Sim is available through Optus Prepaid for $99 at YES Optus Stores, Network Communications, M8, Coles, Target, Kmart, Officeworks, Woolworths, Big W, Dick Smith, Australian Post and Harvey Norman.
