Lenovo Stretches YOGA HD To Max

With a full HD screen and an 8mp camera, Lenovo takes the Yoga to new heights at the 2014 Mobile World Congress today, in Barcelona.

Lenovo announced the new YOGA 10 HD+, Android tablet with a full HD (1920x1200) 10.1" screen, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and an 8mp HD camera.

Running Android 4.3 KitKat, the tablet features Dolby audio, 10 point multi-touch, a micro USB port and DoIt app suite.

The Android tab also has a massive 18 hours of battery life and Hold, Tilt and Stand modes, Yoga now stands upright between 30 and 80 degrees, so it's handy for sitting on a desk or doing work stuff.

It also has a new Smart Display which adjusts the images and text on the screen to ambient light, making it gentler on the eyes.

It will be released in April for US$349, no word on local availability or pricing yet.

"Customers have told us they love the YOGA Tablet for its clever design that gives them a better way for all the different ways they use tablets," said Jeff Meredith, Lenovo Mobile Business Group.

"Now we've created the new YOGA Tablet 10 HD+ to give consumers the ultimate multimode tablet experience, packing it with premium technologies from a gorgeous screen to faster processor to user-centric software."
