We've heard of 4K TV, but Toshiba has gone one better unveiling the world's first 4K laptops.
|Unveiled at CES 2014 this week, Toshiba Tecra W50 and Satellite P50t are the world's first Ultra High Def (known as '4K') laptops with 15.6" diagonal displays that deliver native 3840 x 2160 resolution at 282 PPI. |
Both features Intel's potent 4th gen Core processors. The Tecra W50 has Kepler-based NVIDIA Quadro K2100M GPU and 2GB of video memory, designed for engineers, 3D designers with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. It weighs less than six pounds.
Toshiba's Satellite P50t, is a 4K mobile entertainment PC, with 4th generation Intel Core, diagonal 4K display with edge-to-edge glass for unprecedented color, clarity. Ultra HD, known as 4K, and has four times the res. of regular HDTV.
Both 4K laptops are available mid-2014. No local pricing or availability are yet available.
