Asus Ultrabook Gets More Zen

We all need a bit of Zen. So Asus has piled more onto its suave new Ultrabook Zenbook.

Revealed last night in Sydney, Asus' new flagship Zenbooks UX301/ UX302 - its new Ultrabook with "next generation in notebook technology". 

The sophisticated Zenbook has a wraparound screen, the front panel is made of glass while the lid is decked out with scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3. 

It has the trademark Zenbook metallic 'spun' metal design and comes in Moonstone White and Sapphire Blue. 

The Zenbook UX301 - is a 13.3" Full HD touchscreen with Intel 4th gen Intel Core (i5) that runs Windows 8, costing $1799. 

There's also a high-end 28W Intel Core i7-4558U dual-core option with 512GB RAID0 SSD storage.

Zenbooks feature either Windows 8/8 Pro, Intel Iris graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M graphics with Optimus technology, and have impressive Bang & Olufsen ICE Power Stereo speakers.  

It has the usual connections including WiFi, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.
