Transformer Pad is more than just a tablet - it's also an Android laptop.

Asus' new Transformer Pad TF701T, is a 10.1-inch Android tablet with 2560 x 1600 IPS display and quad core processor.

The PC brand has done well on its Transformer line which have mobile docks allowing it be a dual tablet and laptop device. 
The dock also has full-size keyboard with a large touchpad and Microsoft Office-compatible Polaris Office suite is pre-installed.

The new Transformer Pad has plenty of grunt with high-performance NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU and a 72-core GeForce GPU. 

The dock features a USB 3.0 port, built-in battery, and SDXC card slot, on top of the tablet's own slot.

It is 8.9mm thick and weighs 585g for the tablet while the dock weighs 570g. It cost $799 at ASUS resellers and selected Harvey Norman stores from next week. 

The 10" Android running Jelly Bean 4.2 also has ASUS SonicMaster audio technology, 17-hours battery life when docked ( 13 without),
 front 1.2-mp camera and a 5-mp on the rear ,both shooting 1080p Full HD video. 

The camera also has Zero shutter lag, HDR (High Dynamic Range) and intelligent face enhancement.

It also has Miracast Wi-Fi, so the Pad can mirror its display to a compatible HDTV.
