  B&W Brings Zeppelin Down Under

By Staff Writers | Tuesday | 08/04/2008

The Bowers & Wilkins high-end iPod speaker system ‘Zeppelin’ is finally launching in Australia via distributors Conexus and Convoy.

"The iPod deserves no less than the best audio reproduction possible" says B&W Executive VP of Business Development Evert Huizing, "And we believe Zeppelin delivers the truest, most life-like sound from it. We've incorporated our 40 years of technology and know-how into a product that we hope will allow us to introduce a new market to the level of sound quality enjoyed by professionals every day. As our strapline says - listen and you'll see."

B&W claims that the Zeppelin provides audio quality usually found only in hi-fi separates, and it makes an affordable entry into audiophile sound.

"The Zeppelin was launched late 2007 in the US and has managed to set a new bar for iPod docking stations. Since its launch Zeppelin has won numerous awards, not only for its outstanding sound performance but also for its excellent and eye catching design. Zeppelin is now coming to Australia and we are very excited to follow the market launch and introduction as Australia traditionally is a strong Apple/iPod market, and as the Australian customer strives for excellence and great performance. Zeppelin delivers both!" said CEO B&W Group Asia Ltd Lars T. Hundborg.

The Zeppelin will be on shelves in Australia from 14th April 2008.

RRP: $999.95
