  Work Out With Your iPod

By Caroline Warnes | Thursday | 14/12/2006

Nike’s collaboration with Apple to produce a work out helper may be getting a lot of publicity, however it’s not the only solution on the market.

A new product to hit stores is the Adeo, a GPS device that can assist you on the path to getting fit.

The Adeo is a small device that connects to your iPod or MP3 player. It fades the music from your player to give you updates on your progress, then turns the music back up.

You receive information on your pace, elevation, the distance you've run, calories burned, lap time and more.

You are even told what the battery status is, what time of days it is and your peak pace during your workout.

After the workout, you can then connect the Adeo to your PC and chart, evaluate and organise your workouts.

The computer can be synched with Google Earth and Community Ranking.

The RRP of the Adeo is $199. More information is available at www.satellitefit ness.com.au
