The
Sony MDR-XB eXtra Bass range includes two in-ear and three overhead headphone models that all feature a tightly sealed acoustic design to produce a high level of sound isolation and bass.
The company claims that the newly designed direct vibe structure of the headphones provides a full bass sound without sacrificing the mids and highs. And with a significantly larger frequency response than other headphone models, the eXtra Bass Headphones provide an audible range larger than that of the human ears (approximately 20 – 20,000 kHz), meaning that you get an incredibly deep sound filled with detail.
Sony's Product Manager for Personal Audio, Suzanna Gan said, "The eXtra Bass series of headphones feature a newly developed long stroke diaphragm that delivers smoother vibrations for music lovers. With both in-ear and overhead styles in the range, there is a bass boosting option for everyone who is serious about the quality of sound in their headphones."
