Take Mobile Calls From Your MP3 Player

By Manisha Kanetkar | Wednesday | 22/11/2006

If you find you’re missing phone calls because you’ve always got your MP3 player headphones on, the new Bluetooth enabled headphones from Jabra could be your solution.

BT325
Jabra has released two new headphones, which connect to your MP3 player via the usual 3.5mm jack, but because they are Bluetooth compliant, they can also be synchronised with your Bluetooth-compliant mobile phone. (In the same way you would sync a Bluetooth headset for hands-free talk).

This essentially means you put your phone away in your bag and take calls from the control pad on your headphones (which are plugged into your MP3 player). When a call comes through, the music will automatically pause so won't miss it, Jabra says.

The control pad on the headphones features dual phone and music controls (answer/end, volume etc). The BT320 model offers a claimed 6 hours talk time and 160 hours standby time. It comes in black and two wearing styles (clothing clip, or neck strap). The BT325 model offers a claimed 8 hours talk/music time and 240 hours standby time. They are also rain or shower proof, the company says.

RRP: $129
