  No New Zune Media Player From Microsoft

Microsoft will not launch the Zune Media Player in Australia at the opening of the new Sanity online music store.

Microsoft will not launch the Zune Media Player in Australia at the opening of the new Sanity online music store. Reports in the Sydney Morning Herald indicating that Microsoft and Sanity have delayed the launch of the new online store from April until the 13th of June 2007 because they are contemplating the Zune launch are "wrong" a senior Microsoft executive has said .
Microsoft say that it will not launch in Australia the Zune media player that is currently on sale in the USA until a new version is made available and even then the product may still not be launched due to the dominant position that Apple have with the iPod. According to the latest GFK research Apple have over 76% of the media player market.
