  Sony Unveils Portable DVD Player With DivX Playback

Sony has launched its new portable DVD Player just in time for summer. The company claims that the DVP-FX720W features a 7-inch screen and comes with JPEG, MP3, and DivX playback functionality.

Sony's first portable DVD player will feature a white casing and will weigh 730g. This portable DVD player comes with a car battery charger, external rechargeable battery pack, as well as a remote control for easy DVD menu/playback access. Finally, the portable DVD player has backlight control, five hour battery life, and twin headphone jacks that allow users to watch a movie without disturbing other passengers and comes with a USB slot for JPEG and MP3 playback, the company says.
