Apple Unveils New Pink iPod Nano

By SmartHouse Team | Tuesday | 22/01/2008

Apple has expanded the range of colours the new iPod nano is available in to include a pink 8GB model. The company says the release comes in response to the many requests it has had for a pink version of its popular portable player.

"Customers are going to love the gorgeous new pink iPod nano," said Apple's vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing, Greg Joswiak. "The pink iPod nano is perfect for people who want a great new colour this spring, or who are searching for a special Valentine's Day gift."

The latest gen nano, which was first unveiled last year, is also available in silver, black, blue, green and a Product Red special edition. The player features a two-inch display and allows you to play music and videos and is encased in an anodised aluminium and polished stainless steel frame.

It delivers up to a claimed 24 hours of audio playback or five hours of video playback on a single charge.

The Pink nano is only available in an 8GB version, and is priced at RRP: $279. There is a 4GB version of the iPod nano, it comes in silver and retails at $199 RRP.
