  Universities Bring Lectures To Your iPod

University students will now be able to download lectures to their iPod with the launch of iTunes U.

This new application for iTunes features free educational content from top Australian and New Zealand Universities and will be available to higher education institutions in Australia and New Zealand, allowing them to join more than 300 schools using iTunes U to distribute content to students.

iTunes U in the iTunes Store gives everyone the ability to extend their learning, explore interests, learn more about universities and stay connected to an alma mater. With Apple's legendary ease-of-use, content from iTunes can be loaded onto an iPod with just one click and experienced on-the-go, anytime, making learning from a lecture just as simple as enjoying music.

iTunes U in the iTunes Store continues to expand, now featuring free educational content from top Australian and New Zealand Universities, including lectures, guest speeches and videos from The Australian National University, Griffith University, Swinburne University, University of Melbourne, University of NSW, University of WA and Otago University.
