Alicia Keys also played to the packed crowd.
Presenting the award for best performing retailer to Harvey Norman Australia for 'Most Monstrous Power Retail Chain' was Monster boss, Noel Lee.
Harveys sells over 16 types of Monster AV cables for as much as $400, as well as branded headphones.
Other winners on the retail front were Media Markt (Russia) and US retail chain Crutchfield.
However, CNET ran into trouble when it attempted to give a 'Best of CES' award to an Ergen digital video recorder known as the Hopper (nice Kangaroo theme), that basically 'hops' over ads automatically.
The publication also raved about the Ergen DVR in a review, as the DRV that 'almost has it all.'
However, the trouble is CNET's parent company, CBS, is currently in litigation with the Hopper over its attempt to skip ads, which the network giant relies on for revenue.
