Telstra Tops Up Data Plans

The new Every Day Connect Data Share Packages allow users to share a mobile data allowance between multiple devices, including mobile phones and tablets.

Customers must be signed up to one of Telstra's Every Day Connect mobile plans, which range from $50 to $100 a month. Users also need to ante up an extra $10 a month to share their quota, and a further $10 a month for SIMs for each sharing device, with a maximum of three devices,

Included quota on Telstra's mobile plans ranges from 1GB to 3GB. Excess usage is charged at 10 cents a megabyte - but Telstra says customers who sign up before December 31 will receive a bonus gigabyte each month for the first 12 months.
