The Nokia Lumia 925 camera will arrive in Australia on July 17 and will be available from Optus and Telstra, as well as all major retailers.
The lightweight Nokia Lumia 925 will be available from retail stores from July 17, Telstra from July 30 and Optus from August 1, with presale available with Optus online, in-store and telesales from July 22.
The PureView camera with Carl Zeiss lens enables users to capture clearer, sharper pictures and video, including the best low-light images. The camera also includes advanced image stabilising technology, which reduces camera shake.
A new feature of the Lumia 925 is Nokia's Smart Camera app, allowing users to take 10 shots in quick succession with just one click. Users can then change people's faces, remove any unwanted objects or combine all 10 images into one 'Action Shot', showing the subject in different stages of movement. The Smart Camera app will be made available as an update to all Lumia Windows 8 smartphones.
Nokia Australia's managing director, Steve Lewis, says the Lumia 925 is Nokia's best smartphone yet. The camera is available in white, black and grey
