nTune JB HiFi Monster Headphone Rollout

By Oonagh Reidy | Wednesday | 13/11/2013

Monster Gets JB HiFi nTune

JB Hi-Fi get ntune with Monster, exclusively selling nCredible nErgy headphones in all stores.

Monster's complete audio and headphone line will be invading all 170 JB HiFi stores across ANZ from this month.

JB will be exclusively stocking Monster's nCredible headphones including nErgy, nTune and nPulse, along with the diamond shaped DNA and Inspiration.

As reported in CN last month, JB Hi-Fi Stores will be kitted out with cool interactive displays, video screens and mirrors to get hands on with monster audio gear, listen to cool tunes on the Monsters.

Every Monster headphone - from iSport, DNA, Inspiration - will have different video content - featuring Monster artists and kids using headphones in the street.

"Content is key" Deena Ghazarian, Monster Vice President of Global Sales and Strategy, told CN in an interview. "Music is an emotional thing, it doesn't matter what language you speak."

JB HiFi Marketing Manager, Scott Browning, told CN he expects Monster demand for the headphones this Christmas, ahead of rivals like Beats, which previously had a tie in with the brand.

Convoy International, distributor of Monster, announced the roll out at JB HiFi, which reflects the brand's continuing growth  in OZ. International Monster trainers have also been in OZ to support the store rollout.

"Monster is going from strength to strength across Australia and New Zealand," CEO of Convoy International, Geoff Matthews, says.

Convoy has revealed further plans for further growth with various in-store activations, launches, digital campaigns, festival activations and training road shows

"Given their strong customer base of 'millennials', JB HiFi is the perfect partner to offer shoppers the whole range so we're very excited to be opening up the brand's offering alongside them."

The Monster headphones and multimedia ranges will be available in JB HiFi stores nationally and online at www.jbhifi.com.au from November 2013.
