Audiolab Shows Off Two New Amps

By Marie Jones | Friday | 08/04/2011

AV company, Audio Visual Revolution, whose stable of brands includes Audiolab among others, says the arrival of the 8200A Integrated Amplifier and 8200MB mono-block amplifiers are just part of the first stage of the company's latest generation of audio components.

The 8200A integrated amp displays clean lines with firm, responsibe controls ensuring that it is a delight to use, and the amp's internal design has been meticulously engineered to deliver exceptional sound, with fast, clean, detailed and balanced performance ranging from deep bass to soaring treble.

Giving 60W per channel and suppliying six line-level inputs and three outputs, the 8200AA has twin speaker set terminals to facilitate bi-wiring, along with a high quality, front-mounted headphone output.

A top-grade ALPS motorised volume control and motorised input switches also gives the convenience of remote control without any loss of performance.

The 8200MB is a brand new product in the range and is an advanced single-channel power amplifier capable of partnering loudspeakers of the highest calibre, and providing users with a compact high power monoblock for a stereo or multichannel system.

With a rating of 250W into 8O, it is designed to deliver high power with ultra-low distortion, and supplies a choice of both balanced XLR and single ended RCA inputs.

In terms of sound quality, the 8200MB has enormous ability. Its high current ability enables it to drive the toughest of loads; even the most difficult speakers are driven cleanly without the loss of dynamics, says Audiolab.

The supreme neutrality that characterises Audiolab hi-fi components shines through, coupled with effortless reserves of current to call upon whenever required, so all you hear is the music - pure and unrestrained.

The 8200A is currently selling for $1,499.00 and the 8200MB for $3,299.00 (per pair) through Authorised Audiolab retailers.
