Bowers & Wilkins Clean Up at Sound + Image Awards

Audio giant land three Sound + Image Awards

Bowers & Wilkins' A7 speaker won the prestigious prize of Wireless Speaker of the Year, while the Panorama 2 was awarded Soundbar of the Year at the annual Sound + Image Awards, hosted at Melbourne's Rydges Hotel.

The prestigious awards hailed B&W for its excellence in design, manufacturing and installation in home entertainment. 

"It truly has been another benchmark year for the brand," said Geoff Matthews, CEO of Convoy International, the brands' distributors, locally.   

"We are delighted to see numerous Bowers & Wilkins products recognised recently by the industry, not only in traditional loudspeaker categories where their expertise is renowned, but even more importantly in emerging markets like headphones and wireless speakers". 

Bowers & Wilkins won the following categories

Winner: A7 -Wireless Speaker of the Year

Highly Commended: CM10 - Stereo Speaker priced between $2,000 - $10,000

Highly Commended: Panorama 2 - Soundbar of the Year

Internationally, the brand also one THREE awards at the prestigious UK What Hi Fi Awards:
